Tsugi Hagi Workshop
Join us for a creative experience at the Little Fernwood this Victoria Day long weekend! We're excited to offer a variety of hands-on workshops.
Tsugi Hagi is a Japanese term for patching techniques to revive used items. In this project, we explore this concept through visible mending to add character back to your items.
Let’s work together to revive your patina items!

Embellish the Shopping Bag
Embellish a simple cotton bag or an original colorful bag using Lino printing with color ink and/or fabric patching and decoration.
Simple cotton bag: $35
Original colorful bag: $45

Make a Tsugi Hagi Necklace
A fun and creative workshop to make your own unique necklace with scrap fabrics!
Price: $20

Revive Your Own Items
Bring in an item (such as a shopping bag, T-shirt, shirt, scarf, pants, etc.) and give it a fresh look using Lino stampsand/or fabric patching.

Simple Darning Session
We'll demonstrate basic darning techniques, and if you feel comfortable, you can try it yourself afterward. If not, we're happy to work together to repair your item.Bring in an item such as a shopping bag, T-shirt, shirt, or basket, sweater.
Price: $25+ (depending on size/number of items)
Workshop Times: 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm

Each session lasts around 30-40 minutes. To avoid congestion, please come at your selected time.
Maximum of 9 participants per session.
Age: Kids aged 5-9 must be supervised by an adult during the workshop.
Cancellation: Full refund available if canceled 24 hours before the workshop.
Ticket Info: This ticket secures your spot for the selected time. A $5 deposit will be applied toward your workshop fee.
Important: No dogs or children under 5 years old allowed. Participants are responsible for their own safety when using needles during the darning session.
