1.5 hour sessions × 2 rounds

- 7pm - 8:30pm
Location: Little Fernwood Storefront Studio (1923 Fernwood Road)
Registration fee: $5 (secures your spot and will be credited toward any activity you choose at the workshop)
For ages 12 and up | Wheelchair accessible | Basic sewing knowledge preferred
Children under 12 are welcome, but must be supervised by an adult.
Visible Mending Activities You Can Try(Price range: $15–25 per activity. Choose 1–2 based on time.)
Simple Darning (basket stitch with wool) – perfect for small holes and worn areas
Visible Patching with Hand Stitching – add character and strength to your garments
Collage-Style Patches – create your own unique fabric patch and either sew it yourself or use our sewing service
Fabric Bead Necklace – a fun and simple option to make a necklace with 7–8 handmade fabric beads
We provide all materials, tools, sewing support, and cotton bags available for purchase if you don’t bring an item to repair.
About This WorkshopThis is a self-guided workstation, not a formal class. I will offer a quick demo of basic visible mending techniques and support you while you work on your own item. You're free to create at your own pace.
No item to repair? No problem! We’ll have a selection of cotton bags for purchase so you can still enjoy visible mending practice.
