Nothing is discarded. Join us to explore creative ways to repair and transform your clothing with love and care. Our mending is not hidden — it adds charm and helps you cherish your garments. It’s revival.
In this workshop, you will repair the items ( or embellish the item) by using several visible mending techniques — stitching, chatting and enjoying a cup of tea or coffee as you mend.

[Location]Little Fernwood Gladstone Studio 1923 Fernwood Road (Room located at the back of the building)
[Fee]Sliding scale $30-$40 Choose the amount what you like.
[What included]All materials and tools
Machine sewing will be done by the instructor when needed.

Children under 12 are welcome with adult supervision.
[Visible Mending: Techniques will be selected based on your garment.]• Simple Darning (basket stitch) – Perfect for small holes and worn areas
• Patching with Hand Stitching – Add character and strength to your garments
• Collage-like Patch making – Create your own unique fabric patch
Optional activity ($7)
Running stiches on printed fabric - Tsugi-hagi original item to use for Sashiko/running stitch
[About This Workshop]We check the damage and decide which visible mending technique is suits for your damage/items. Or you can decide what you like to try! You are free to create at your own pace.
Bring one or two garments (shirt, socks, sweater, etc.). If you have nothing to mend, cotton bags are available to purchase ($7).
